The Wine:
Monte Grande is the white cru of the house and a blend of 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave of great complexity with ideal ageing potential. Deep bouquet of exotic fruits and rocks with a fine citrus note. Multi-layered and spicy on the palate, intense and sharply focused, with mineral hints and a pretty salty core. Beautifully wrought acidity, then notes of orange zest and almonds on the long finish. A terrific masterpiece!
